This is our last training week for 2020 – and our swim session is still out due to the unavailability of a full safety team. Thursday is prize-giving, so we’ll do the run provided athletes contact me in advance to let me know they’re in.

Open water swimming for all. Wetsuits are compulsory and most levels are catered for.
Our club runs are all-access events which operate over a range of courses. While it’s called a ‘run’, in fact we will often emphasise strength and core as part of our runs.

A mainstay of our club for the last three years, our Friday Ride has become an institution. We operate these rides over a range of courses and always operate a ‘no drop’ protocol.

Let me know if you’re planning to run – I’ll go ahead if I hear from 3 or more people.

If inclement weather exceeds our safety thresholds for any of our training events, I will endeavour to notify everyone 2 hours before the start time – but this can occur closer to the time if the weather change is sudden!

Our club is all about participation, and alongside the excellent commitment of the student athletes, we welcome family members and members of the community to join us in all of our training sessions. They’re designed to accommodate all levels and abilities and are a lot of fun. If you have it in mind that you’d like to join any of our regular sessions, simply let me know and we’ll make sure you have all the information you need.
