New younger riders to the club must undergo our road cycling initial rider training before they can head out on the open road with the team. You’ll hear from Lisa soon about our plans there.

CLUB BARBECUE: 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm at Beacon Point. 

Rachel the event director asked me to pass on the following information. You need to bring:

• pre bbq nibbles/crisps
• non alcoholic drinks
• something to sit on!
• provide own food if special diet required.
– We will provide the bbq, bread, tom sauce, sausages, coleslaw, tomatoes, pineapple and marsh mellows!

Monday 11 January:

Club Open Water Swim – Some fun in the water, some short race-pace sets and a re-cap on race-day preparation – Meet at the new carpark in Roy’s Bay at 6:00 pm.

If you wish to participate in our open water swim sessions, please speak to Chris to arrange an opportunity to complete our club open water test.

Tuesday 12 January:

Mount Aspiring College pre-event meeting for athletes participating in the Otago Champs on Thursday. Room 23 at First Break

Thursday 14 January:

OTAGO TRIATHLON CHAMPS – Friday 8 February at 10 am is the final deadline for registration for this event. Register with Jacky at the Sportshub

Club Run – Location: On the couch: Rest up after today’s race.

Friday 15 January:

Club Ride: Mt Barker Sets – Meet Room 23 at 3:30 pm. Group ride for strategy including pace sets.
