Welcome to our new club members and their families! You’ll receive these updates in your inbox every week to let you know what is happening. You can check out our Events Schedule to see what competitions we’re preparing for as a club, and our website has heaps of information and support material.

Tomorrow:

Club Ride: HIDDEN HILLS TT – Meet Room 23 at 3:30 pm. We’ll make this a BRICK session for athletes planning to compete in the Otago Triathlon Champs – bring your running shoes.

This ride is open to all riders – and as it’s a time trial, it will provide you with a good reference point to help you evaluate the effectiveness of your training.

New riders to the club must undergo our road cycling initial rider training before they can head out on the open road with the team.

If you wish to participate in our open water swim sessions, please speak to Chris to arrange an opportunity to complete our club open water test.

Our focus in training sessions leading up to this will be a balance of fitness/technique and coaching on strategy and preparation. Please confirm your entries directly with Jacky or Chrissi at the Sportshub.

Our training and event calendar can be found at: http://trisport.mtaspiring.edutronic.net/training-calendar/ – and you can merge it with your own device if you like

Our club is all about participation, and alongside the excellent commitment of the student athletes, we welcome family members and members of the community to join us in all of our training sessions. They’re designed to accommodate all levels and abilities and are a lot of fun. If you have it in mind that you’d like to join any of our regular sessions, simply let me know and we’ll make sure you have all the information you need.

Righto!

Chris
