Club Open Water Swim – Note the earlier time of 6:00pm. Location: New (Sealed) Carpark in Roy’s Bay – First Club Club Lake Swim for the Season – Welcome back to the open water! Tomorrow we have enough on-water support to accommodate 10 swimmers
As we return to the Lake for the summer, remember to keep in mind some of our protocols:
- All swimmers must wear a wetsuit (this is for buoyancy, not just comfort) Merryn has contacts in the industry who can offer discounts to locals. Get in touch with her if you’re in the market for a wetsuit.
- No swimmers may enter the water until the safety crew are out
- You must have passed our open water test in the pool before you’re safe to swim in the open water
- All of our safety plans are published on our website
Thursday 21 November
Club Run – We’ll be completing our classic ‘Jumping Around Town’ effort, with a couple of surprises – Meet Room 23 at 3:30 pm
Friday 22 November
Club Ride – Mt Barker Sets – Meet Room 23 at 3:45 pm. All welcome.

Our club is all about participation, and alongside the excellent commitment of the student athletes, we welcome family members and members of the community to join us in all of our training sessions. They’re designed to accommodate all levels and abilities and are a lot of fun. If you have it in mind that you’d like to join any of our regular sessions, simply let me know and we’ll make sure you have all the information you need.
