MONDAY 10 February – Triathlon Transition Clinic

6:00 pm Sealed Carpark in Roy’s Bay

This Monday’s session, which is usually a swim-only session will be turned over to triathlon skills and techniques. We’ll work on T1 and T2 transitions, gear, mental and technical preparation and experienced athletes will be on hand to give support and advice to those who are newer to the domain.

Wetsuits are compulsory for our open-water swim sessions. If you want to participate in the transition clinic, then please bring your bike and gear and running shoes.

If you’re new to the club, please speak in advance to Chris about your level of experience in the open water.

THURSDAY 14 February – Club Run Training

We’re not running this week as today is race day

FRIDAY 15 February – Club Ride

3:30 pm Outside Room 23

Many of the club triathletes will be resting today in preparation for Sunday’s nationals. If you’d like to attend an organised club ride today, let me know directly and I’ll put something on and tell the others.

If inclement weather exceeds our safety thresholds for any of our training events, I will endeavour to notify everyone 3 hours before the start time – but this can occur closer to the time if the weather change is sudden!

Our club is all about participation, and alongside the excellent commitment of the student athletes, we welcome family members and members of the community to join us in all of our training sessions. They’re designed to accommodate all levels and abilities and are a lot of fun. If you have it in mind that you’d like to join any of our regular sessions, simply let me know and we’ll make sure you have all the information you need.

Righto!
