The Tri club boys have a had a good first hit out in 2019 at the Cromwell Tri on the 2nd Jan.
All 3 Staufenbergs, Jack and Zach, Laurie and McKay we in attendance.
Zach had a superb swim, right in the thick of the front of the swim pack, but unfortunately took a wrong turn on the bike. Jack wasn’t feeling well on the day but looked very strong at the end of the run which at 6km was quite a long one! Leo executed brilliantly and took out first in the under 16s, McKay was very pleased with his race and came home 3rd. Janus 2nd in open men’s and Julius not far behind in 4th place. Laurie happy with a very strong race coming 8th in open men’s and more importantly beat his dad!
